I played on a pvp server for years. Never even knew how PvE/RP servers worked until I made a character on one. My first PvE server encounter with the opposite faction was in Hellfire Peninsula. I saw a Blood Elf land next to me and I was like oh boy lol...then I noticed their character name was in blue letters, not red. Next I realized they could not one shot my character, because we were not flagged. After that I left the pvp server. LOL why would I give complete strangers on the internet the opportunity to influence my gameplay? I've saved so much time by switching to a normal server. Nothing against Pvp but usually that just means ganking. Which isn't really pvp, it's more like someone working out their frustration from tiny penis syndrome.
